This is complicated; I guess we'll need money first, so I'll do some posting.
If we want like 50 families, that'd take 50 homes, 2 schools, and a lot more lol errr. So let's say for a good town (rough estimate) we'd need like 500k. That's 5000 money posts?

Ok so Emily and I aren't really sure if the MONEY thread we created counts, since the host said in the instructions there would be a forum for us to do the comp in. However, we're just gonna post a lil cuz we're nervous that this comp started already.
Regarding money, we need a smart way to keep track of what we have and what we spent. I propose we create a thread for BANKING. Each page of money bag posts equals $1,500. We can record the number of completed pages into our bank as "deposits" so we know our total. When you build/buy anything for the town, record it in the BANKING thread so we know how much we got left. This is just a suggestion. Thoughts?

Is it worth it to buy the Train Car thing.. some plants/flowers for the houses, bikes for the kids, family pets?
Edit: Im sorry, i read it wrong. We need 100 people first.
Does anyone have a tally of how many people we have? That will be helpful for knowing when to buy more things (since as the number of people go up, we have to buy more stores, offices, schools, etc)

At 3pm this is our current town (so we know what we need as we approach 100 people)
Total Population: 103
Adults: 58 *Including Indian Men, Police Officers
Kids: 45
Schools: 2 (Max 80 kids)
Stores: 3 (Max 90 people)
Offices: 4 (Max 80 adults)
Police Stations: 2 (Max 100 people)
Queens: 0
So we need:
1 Store
1 Police Station
1 Queen
