Through the course of this Final Tribal Council, my goal was to hammer home the point that I never gave up in this game. Even when my back appeared to be against the wall in the start of a round, I found a new way to survive and continue on down a new avenue. At some points that involved deception, other times it involved winning a challenge, and lastly I had to be able to have good enough relationships with key individuals that they would feel compelled to keep me around.

I tried many different alliances this season. At different points, almost all of those people I made agreements with betrayed me and attempted to blindside me. Despite that I made it here, and I hope you recognize the patience that required.

I have the pleasure of sitting next to two wonderful ladies. At one point I think I was surrounded by four women in a female-dominated season. Henry was a happy boy. Annie and Emily are great people, but I do not think they had to overcome some of the same hurdles that I had to tackle during this game. Each of these ladies had the luxury of taking some breaks and coasting, something I never got to do. I hope the effort that I put into this game is clear and respected.

At the start of this game I thought I had no chance of reaching the Final 3. Along the way I think many of you also felt like I had no chance of getting here, haha. But here I am, and I hope that the journey I’ve traveled with each of you has been meaningful in its own appropriate way.

I’ll be honest, this has been one of the weirdest games I’ve ever played in, haha. But I’d love to represent y’all as the winner of Season 2. Thanks hosts, PWs, and everyone who stuck with the game all the way through!
